In an interview, he called for unity within dancehall and named the entertainers. He was therefore happy to see them on stage together, along with Ding Dong, as they made guest appearances during Wayne Wonder’s performance at the Reggae Fest Tour at the recent Barclay Center in New York. The artistes, along with dancehall artiste Mr Vegas, were seen huddling in a circle as they jumped in celebration of each other’s accomplishments and being in each other’s presence, performing on what Mr Lexx described as ‘the bet show of the year’. While on stage, Elephant Man, who is said to have ‘blocked’ Ding Dong on Instagram just before his performance, uttered “Big up Ding Dong, tun on di lighter dem fi him, him nuh chat to mi but weh mi seh… .” In a video, which was later reposted by Ding Dong, he hailed Elephant Man for ‘paving the way’. Likewise, Mr Lexx shared a photo with Elephant Man, and laughing emojis, stating that the ‘malice’ can end now, and proposed that the artiste should ‘unblock’ him so they can reconcile. In a previous toast, he tagged popular selector Foota Hype, asking him to bring Elephant Man’s attention to the post. Though the deejay is yet to respond to either Mr Lexx’s or Ding Dong’s posts, Quick Cook is hoping to see musical unity among the mentioned artistes and calls on Elephant Man to “duh di right thing”. “Ano just me, a weh di world waah fi see.
