The 43-year-old pop superstar has revealed she’s been trying her best to stay healthy this summer and has overhauled her diet. She revealed that she’s given up all meat except for turkey, and is making sure she takes all her supplements and works out when she can. She told GQ magazine : “I’m trying to muster the strength to work out, but I just can’t do it today. Maybe tomorrow ... .” Beyoncé has dabbled with veganism in the past, but has insisted she tends to switch her diet up regularly rather than sticking to one thing. Back in 2015, she talked to the New York Times about taking part in a 22-day vegan challenge. She explained: “At first it’s the little things I noticed: I had more energy ... The benefits of a plant- based diet need to be known. We should spend more time loving ourselves, which means taking better care of ourselves with good nutrition and making healthier food choices ... “[I had] a noticeable glow to my skin without having to deprive myself of carbs. I even slept better.” In the new interview with GQ , the singer – who is promoting her new drink brand SirDavis whisky – went on to talk about her worries about current technology including artificial intelligence (AI) and the struggle to keep her three young children safe online. She added: “We live in a world of access. We have access to so much information – some facts, and some complete b******* disguised as truth. “Our children can FaceTime and see their friends at any given moment. My husband and I? We used calling cards and Skype when we were falling in love. I couldn’t afford the international hotel bills, so I literally would get international calling cards to call him. “Just recently, I heard an AI song that sounded so much like me it scared me. It’s impossible to truly know what’s real and what’s not.” Beyoncé has given up almost all meat Ciara AP Beyoncé AP C iara is trying to make her “chaotic” life work with four children. The 38-year-old pop star has Future, 10, with ex-fiancé Future, as well as Sienna, seven, Win, four, and nine- month-old Amora with husband Russell Wilson, 35. She explained that she had an “amazing time” taking them on tour but had to find those “humbling moments” to just be a mother. She told People : “It was the most amazing time with my babies. I was like, ‘This is what life is about.’ So, the little joys in life. I’m so grateful for those moments where I can go go from the crazy schedule then to have these humbling moments where it’s just [her] being a mom. “Every day is non-stop, but it’s chaotic, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So first summer [with] four is crazy, but we’re doing all right. We’re making it happen.” The Goodies hitmaker recently admitted that her weight has been going up and down since the birth of her youngest child but she is going to allow herself some treats amid her health kick, because she “needs it” for the benefit of her mental health. She told E! News : “Sometimes, you want to make things picture-perfect and life doesn’t allow you to do that. This is real s***. There’s no perfectness to motherhood. For example, I had a scale drop and now the scale went back up. I was like, uhhh. “I’m going to give myself grace, and eat a couple of potatoes and ice cream because I need that for my mind. That’s where I am with it—and it’s okay!” Ciara loves ‘chaos’ of family life
